1. License Grant
Upon purchase, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use LaraBolt for commercial purposes. This includes:
- Right to deploy the Product on your own infrastructure
- Right to modify and customize the code for your use
- Right to build and sell applications using the Product
- Lifetime updates and improvements
- Access to full source code
2. License Key and Domain Binding
Each purchase includes a unique License Key (proof of purchase) that is bound to a specific domain. The license verification works as follows:
- Your backend automatically verifies the License Key weekly with our servers
- Verification is domain-specific (e.g., app.yourdomain.com)
- You generate your own API keys in your admin panel for internal use
- If verification fails but you have been verified within the last 2 months, your application continues to work
- After 2 months without successful verification, your application will stop working
- Each License Key is tied to one domain — the same key cannot be used across multiple domains
3. Verification Mechanism
Your backend will automatically make weekly verification calls to our licensing API using your License Key (received after purchase):
GET /api/verify-license?key=YOUR_LICENSE_KEY&domain=app.yourdomain.com
This ensures:
- Your purchase is still active and valid
- The License Key is being used on the correct domain
- No unauthorized distribution or domain-hopping
4. Offline Grace Period
If your application cannot reach our licensing servers (network outage, DNS issues, etc.), the following applies:
- Your application will continue to function for up to 2 months
- Once the last verification is older than 2 months, the application will stop working
- This grace period allows temporary disconnections without interrupting your service
- When connectivity is restored, verification will resume automatically
5. Permitted Uses
With a commercial license, you may:
- Deploy the Product in production
- Build commercial applications and services
- Modify and customize the source code
- Use the Product for unlimited projects (all on the same domain)
- Sublicense your applications built with the Product
- White-label applications or services
6. Prohibited Uses
You may NOT:
- Resell, redistribute, or share the source code
- Use the same License Key across multiple domains
- Bypass or disable the license verification mechanism
- Share your License Key with others
- Reverse engineer the verification system
- Attempt to forge or spoof license verification responses
- Use the Product to create a competing product or service
- Remove copyright notices or attribution
7. License Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your license if:
- You violate any terms of this agreement
- You attempt to bypass or disable license verification
- You use the same API key across multiple domains
- You engage in fraudulent or suspicious activity
- You redistribute the source code or license
8. Multiple Domains
If you need to deploy on multiple domains, you must purchase a separate license for each domain. Each license includes its own unique License Key tied to that specific domain. Your API keys are generated separately in each deployment's admin panel.
9. Updates and Support
Your commercial license includes:
- Lifetime access to updates and improvements
- Email support at support@larabolt.io
- Access to full documentation
10. Intellectual Property
While you own the applications you build with the Product, the underlying code, architecture, and design remain the intellectual property of LaraBolt. You cannot claim ownership of or patent the Product itself.
11. Termination
If your license is terminated due to violation of this agreement, you must:
- Cease using the Product immediately
- Remove all copies of the source code
- Stop offering services built with the Product
